Argentina finishes 2007 at top of FIFA's world rankings (18 Dec 2007 10:33 GMT)
Argentina finished No. 1 in soccer's world rankings in 2007, winning FIFA's team of the year in the process.
The top 10 in the final rankings from soccer's world governing body were unchanged from those in November.
Argentina was first with 1,523 points, followed by Brazil (1,502) and world champion Italy (1,498).
The rest of the top 10 was: Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, France, Portugal, Netherlands and Croatia. European champion Greece stayed at No. 11, one point ahead of England.
