Argentina striker Javier Saviola spoke about his emotions following his first game in a Real Madrid shirt.
Saviola was introduced as a part of the host of half-time changes showing flashes of his ability.
"I am very happy to play in the Madrid shirt," he said. "I felt good, even though I still need time to understand my new teammates. We are in the pre-season, so we do feel a bit tired. However, we are working well, and that is the important thing."
"I hope that my top form is visible by the time the pre-season ends," Saviola continued. "At the moment, we are all working very hard to become match fit. The win is an important boost."
