While the buzz in la Liga today was focused on the match at the Bernabeu, Atletico Madrid and Argentina fans will be happy to hear that Maxi Rodriquez come through unscathed after playing the last 45 minutes of Atletico's match against Espanyol. If he makes it through the last couple weeks of the Spainish season, the wait will be on to see if he's included in Alfio Basile's squad for the Copa America.
