Argentine Julio Ricardo Cruz struck twice for Inter Milan as they beat Russia's Spartak Moscow 2-1 in Champions League Group B on Wednesday to pick up their first points of the campaign.
Cruz was selected ahead of Brazilian Adriano and Inter coach Roberto Mancini's decision paid off handsomely.
Cruz put Inter ahead with a first-time strike in the second minute and then added a second with a header seven minutes later.
