Leandro Cufré has thanked those around him for their constant and crucial support after his father passed away as the Argentine squad arrived on the 31st of May.
"The coaching staff, my team-mates, my wife Yanina and my daughters, Justina and Constantina, have all helped me get through such a painful time?, explained the AS Roma player during the press conference.
Cufre was helped through the worst by Roberto Ayala, his room-mate at the Herzog?s Park hotel, is expected to start the Ivory Coast game on the bench, but Pekerman views him as an ace in the hole for any defensive position.
The player himself feels ?at ease as the preparations have gone smoothly and the team is responding to expectations, but above all because there?s a real close union in the squad that surely will help us do the best for Argentina on the pitch.?
