Crespo wants to come back to Serie A (16 Dec 2005 22:17 GMT)
Chelsea striker Hernan Crespo has admitted that he would love to return to Serie A. The 30-year-old hitman has been in good form in recent weeks and seemed to have finally settled in west London after spending the whole of last season on loan at AC Milan.
However, in an interview with an Italian TV station, the Argentina international admitted that he would jump at the chance to move to an Italian club, with a return to Milan his number one choice.
"I would like to return to Italian football," Crespo told Sky Italia. "I'd like to go back to Serie A because Italian football is made for me. I still have two years to run on my current deal. But we will see. [Milan coach] Carlo Ancelotti will always be my favourite coach even if I were to join another club."
As well as his loan spell at Milan last season, Crespo has also played for city rivals Inter, as well as Parma and Lazio in Serie A. He has scored six goals for the Blues so far this season and looked to have moved ahead of Didier Drogba in the striking pecking order at Stamford Bridge in recent weeks.
