Fresh Milan derby for Crespo (15 Apr 2006 18:34 GMT)

Reports in Italy on Friday insist that the Chelsea striker is wanted by both Milan and Inter which he has oddly enough already played for in his career.

Milan are interested in recalling the Argentine after his excellent loan campaign at the San Siro in the 2004-05 season.

Although he did initially struggle, boss Carlo Ancelotti ? who also worked with him at Parma ? kept the faith and Crespo went on to net some crucial goals in the process.

The Rossoneri did attempt to extend his loan stint for an extra season, but when no terms could be agreed with Chelsea, the forward was recalled to Stamford Bridge.

Milan want him back to add to their trio of superstar attackers in the shape of Andriy Shevchenko, Pippo Inzaghi and Alberto Gilardino.

Crespo?s proposed arrival would see Marcio Amoroso sold after his failure to make an impact since his arrival in January as cover for Monaco bound Christian Vieri.

But Inter are desperate for Crespo too after their struggles in front of goal this term, largely down to the dip in form of Adriano.

Crespo, who netted seven League goals in 18 games during the 2002-03 season for Inter before his London move, is highly valued by President Giacinto Facchetti and boss Roberto Mancini.

Chelsea may be willing to sell Crespo, especially with Adriano, Fernando Torres of Atletico Madrid and Barca?s Samuel Eto?o all linked with the Premiership club.
