Pellegrini tells Fergusson and Moratti to forget Riquelme (7 Mar 2006 19:50 GMT)
Villarreal coach Manuel Pellegrini has told Manchester United and Inter Milan to forget about trying to sign his Argentine playmaker Juan Roman Riquelme.
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has made Riquelme his top midfield transfer target for the summer market, while Inter patron Massimo Moratti fancies the Argie as a replacement for want-away Juan Veron.
However, Pellegrini said last night: "Roman is now one of the best players in the world and we do not have any intention of selling him to anybody."
