Iran warm up match with Argentina (7 Mar 2006 00:54 GMT)
Iran's President in his recent visit to Iran's national football team camp, promised to give more helps for holding build up matches.
"We asked Iran's Football Federation to finalize Iran-Argentina game," said Iran's Sport Organization chief, Aliabadi.
Iran's World Cup build-up has been hit by the cancellation of friendlies due to the nuclear standoff, but coach Branko Ivankovic insists it hasn't affected them and they can beat anyone.
The Coach said his team has ignored calls from several countries that the Islamic Republic be barred from playing in the finals in Germany altogether due to the West's standoff with Iran over its controversial nuclear program.
